Labrador Retrievers

This litter of AKC Labrador puppies was born on December 28, 2004.

This is Tina, our 3 year old Chocolate Lab.

She has a very good disposition, is well mannered, has good hunting skill and really likes tracking.

She gave birth on December 28, 2004 to seven (7) lovely puppies.  This is her first litter.

1 yellow male

1 yellow female

1 black female

1 chocolate female

3 chocolate males

This is Rex the father.  He's a strong, tall boy and weighs in at 75 lbs.

Mom is taking a break and the pups are all doing fine.

After taking a break to eat, Tina's back looking after her pups

December 28, 2004

First born was the yellow female pup followed by the black female.  Really beautiful yellow color on this one.

December 28, 2004

The third born pup was the yellow male on the right.  Tina had a lot of difficulty with him and took about 3 hours for him to be born.  After birth, we had to help him start breathing.  He's doing just fine now.

December 29, 2004

This is Tina with all 7 pups.  Since this was her first litter, she really didn't know what to do.  Had to open sacks and tie-off the cords on the first 3 pups.  After the first three started nursing, Tina's maternal instincts took over and did just what she was supposed to do.

She's an excellent mom and all pups are healthy.  All of the pups are going to the vet on 12-30-04 for an exam and dew claw removal.

Tigger

Since I was born first, I should be top dog.  My human mom, Megan, tells me I should just be like all the other boys and girls.  I will try very hard to please her.

Tigger is now grown and expecting a litter in late September-early October 2006.

Louis' Black Raven

I'm feeling all grown-up, independent, demanding attention and  very loving. I know that I am stronger and can run faster than any of my brothers and sisters.  I'm a born leader.

Scott's CH Girl Cady

I love giving kisses to everyone

I'm a very cuddly and loving young girl.

D's Little Boy Kota

Can't wait to see the kids 'cuz I play hard.   Will I be going to puppy school soon ???

Kota is grown too--We are dog watching as his owners move into a new home and prepare a kennel for him--he loves to run.

Drake

Marlea loves me.  I'll be duck hunting before I'm a year old--just watch me.

Brownie

I like to play and  can hold my own with two girls age 5 & 7

Kelly's CH Star Boy Mo

I have a big heart, like to be held and give kisses only to the girls.

Just an update--They're all doing fine, teeth are all in, started on solid food  on February 2, 2005 and letting them spend some time outside.  They all like to play with the toys and each other---really fun to watch them.  They are VERY alert and  come when they are called.

This is "Woody" Sebastian Woodruff Charlie, our Chocolate male Labrador at 9 weeks

He is already working on a leash and is retrieving.  Really wants to work.  He also likes to bring us presents like BIG sticks, road kill rabbits and beer cans.

He has a very smooth coat and extremely alert for his age.  Woody will be providing stud services for our females.  Stay tuned for our future photos of his offspring.

He's getting much bigger now, calmer and very loyal.
