Junk NV5600
After three(3) failed NV5600 transmissions I felt I had to do something, especially when I was told there was no direct replacement for the NV5600, except the new Getrag 56 that Dodge is currently using.
This is was was left after the last failure
I started doing some research and found that the Fuller FS and FSO 6 speed series transmissions had been used in mid-sized trucks and even on the 2008 Ford Excursion. The FSO6406 and FSO8406 are overdrive transmissions with the gear ratios very close to that of the NV5600.
Joins us on this journey to install a Fuller transmission into our 2001 Dodge 3500 4 X 4 flat bed.
